Newest Release Revealed: Introducing The Brollach

The latest release from The Craft Irish Whiskey Co., The Brollach is the culmination of a personal search for a whiskey that would honour the father of our Founder, Jay Bradley. The Craft Irish Whiskey Co. was born from a late night conversation between Jay and his father, Shay, and every element of The Brollach has been designed to honour him.

From the double distillation that symbolises the bond between a father and son, to the craftsmanship of the box that pays homage to Shay’s trade as a master craftsman, The Brollach is the embodiment of their relationship. Even the name, The Brollach, is drawn from the ancient rendering of the Bradley name, O’Brollachan.

Only the finest whiskey could honour the bond of family and The Brollach is that whiskey; double distilled and double casked for two decades in bourbon and rare French Oak Madeira. It brings subtle notes of apricot and butterscotch on the nose, with dark cherry and chocolate on the palate that mellow into a lingering finish of caramelised banana.

As Tiago Russo explains in this film, The Brollach follows in the footsteps of The Devil’s Keep and The Emerald Isle in crafting an all-encompassing sensory experience. The raw oak and brushed stainless steel of the box, the expertly designed Finn glasses, the obsidian whiskey stones; every element has been conceived to elevate the enjoyment of the whiskey to the standard it deserves.
