The World’s 50 Best Restaurants – The Pinnacle of Hospitality

The Craft Irish Whiskey Co.

Every year the organisation of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants convenes to reveal its annual ranking of the top eateries from across the globe. This year, that celebration took place along the Las Vegas Strip, and as one of the leading sponsors of the event, The Craft Irish Whiskey Co. enjoyed a front row seat to all of the action.

The Welcome Dinner

The festivities began with the unforgettable Welcome Dinner at Carversteak, located inside Resorts World Las Vegas. Here, the kitchen was taken over by some of the biggest names in high-end gastronomy. Two of the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca teamed up with Virgilio Martínez and Pía León from Central in Lima to create culinary mastery, including binchotan charcoal-grilled wagyu rib cap. The Welcome Dinner concluded with our very own multi-award winning Single Malt, The Donn, acting as a digestif to perfectly finish the meal.

The Chefs’ Feast

The following evening, the Chefs’ Feast took place at the Wynn Las Vegas, the host hotel for the Awards Ceremony. The event guided guests around the globe from one culinary station to the next, including fresh ceviches with Yucatan flavours, hand-carved steaks from South America, and sizzling taco stations. The evening was accompanied by live music, dance, and of course, neat pours of our Irish Single Malt, The Donn.

The Awards Ceremony

The Awards Ceremony was then held on the 5th June, where guests were welcomed into another grand showcase of high-end cuisine at the Wynn, including Osetra caviar, jamon Iberico and freshly dressed Peking duck. The highlight of the event was the addition of The Craft Irish Whiskey Co. Lounge, where there was the opportunity to not only sample The Donn, but also The Taoscán, which was crowned Irish Single Malt of The Year at the London Spirits Competition 2024! The world’s first Port & Chestnut finished whiskey, The Taoscán, was a showstopper. Attendees fortunate enough to get a dram before the bottle was empty, could be heard calling The Taoscán the best whiskey they had ever sipped. Guests were encouraged to carry a personal pour with them into the neighbouring theatre for the highly anticipated unveiling of the year’s top restaurants.

After an evening of incredible cuisine, the coveted Red Scarves were draped around the necks of this year’s winners, including 1st place holder Disfrutar in Barcelona, Spain. We wish to congratulate everyone in attendance for their hard work and achievements, and we couldn’t be more excited to see where The World’s 50 Best takes us in the year ahead.

Our Partnership With The World’s 50 Best Restaurants

In a room full of the most talented flavour makers on the planet, the Awards Ceremony served as a poignant reminder as to why our partnership with The World’s 50 Best Restaurants is so special. Collectively, we push the food and beverage scene forward in a cohesive aim to achieve the best in hospitality – precisely what we bring to each and every expression at The Craft Irish Whiskey Co.

While The World’s 50 Best institution has yet to reveal the host city for the 2025 celebration, we do know where we hope our journey will take us – directly into the dining rooms and bars of each and every single one of these top-ranked restaurants!
