At The Craft Irish Whiskey Co., we’re incredibly passionate about craftsmanship and excellence in hospitality experiences. Earlier this year, we presented the inaugural Exceptional Cocktail List award at The Michelin Guide Star Revelation Great Britain and Ireland 2023, and last week, our team traveled to Valencia, as the Official Whiskey of the World Partner at the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
This prestigious event showcased our exceptional whiskeys on a truly global stage, and presented us with an exciting opportunity to celebrate our world class hospitality partners.
We’d like to congratulate each and every restaurant in the top 50, as well as those ranking in the 50-100 list. The passion, dedication, and innovative approaches of the chefs and restaurateurs honoured at the event was truly inspiring. For us, our work with The World’s 50 Best Restaurants serves as an example of our unwavering commitment to excellence in hospitality.

At the celebrations in Valencia, we delighted guests with our rare and ultra rare Irish single malts, including The Devil’s Keep, The Taoscán, and The Donn, serving perfect serve neat pours alongside a selection of cocktails created by our inhouse mixologists. The Craft Irish Whiskey Co.’s bar had a queue at all times!
‘Dagda’, an inspired take on an Old Fashioned, was a tribute to Gaelic mythology, with the flavours of The Donn, Tawny Port, Maple Syrup, Creole Bitters and Angostura Aromatic Bitters, harmoniously merging in each glass. It was an ode to the son of Dagda (the Gaelic god of wisdom and indulgence), and each sip transported guests on a divine journey of taste.
Our second cocktail was a The Craft Irish Whiskey Co. twist on a Boulevardier, inspired by the Irish goddess of summer, wealth, and sovereignty, ‘Áine’ combined The Donn, Caraway Seed Campari, Sweet Vermouth Blend and Shanky’s Whip Black Irish Liqueur in a captivating crescendo of flavours. The delicate balance of ingredients in this cocktail reflected the goddess’ association with the sun and the vibrancy of summer.
